Vehro is a technology startup reimagining roadside assistance for the modern driver.

Designed as a two-sided marketplace, the platform connects drivers with trusted local mechanics and service providers through a fast, transparent and mobile-first experience. Whether it’s a puncture, flat battery or emergency breakdown, Vehro replaces uncertainty with real-time visibility, trusted providers and a simpler route back onto the road.

Inspired by the convenience of platforms like Uber and Deliveroo, Vehro is building the digital infrastructure for roadside assistance—bringing an industry that has changed very little into the expectations of today’s connected consumer.

The opportunity

The roadside assistance industry hasn’t evolved at the same pace as customer expectations.

Drivers are still expected to accept long wait times, unclear pricing, limited communication and little visibility into who’s arriving to help. At the same time, independent mechanics and roadside providers rely heavily on manual bookings, fragmented systems and expensive customer acquisition.

Vehro recognised an opportunity to rethink the entire experience—not simply by building another roadside assistance company, but by creating a technology platform that benefits both drivers and service providers.

Rather than launching immediately as a native mobile app, the founders made the strategic decision to launch a web-based beta focused initially on mobile tyre fitting. This approach would allow the business to validate the product, build trust, generate valuable user data and establish a network of vendors before expanding into a fully featured mobile platform.

We were brought into the business from its earliest stages. What began as a light brand refresh quickly evolved into a long-term strategic partnership, supporting everything from the company’s name and positioning to product design, investor materials and future vision.

What we did

Our role extended far beyond branding.

Working alongside the founders, we helped define Vehro’s positioning, messaging and long-term brand strategy—establishing the business as the modern alternative to traditional roadside assistance.

The name itself became the first strategic decision. Combining Vehicle and Hero, Vehro positions itself as the trusted partner drivers can rely on when something goes wrong.

That thinking shaped the entire visual identity.

Inspired by comic books and superheroes, the brand was designed to communicate speed, trust and reassurance during stressful moments. The bespoke wordmark leans forward through an italicised construction, while a lightning bolt embedded within the “O” acts as Vehro’s superhero emblem. The bolt became a recognisable graphic device throughout the wider identity—appearing across marketing, product interfaces and campaign assets.

Alongside the brand, we developed the company’s positioning and messaging framework, ensuring the proposition resonated with both sides of the marketplace. Every interaction was designed around urgency, clarity and transparency—three principles that became central to the customer experience.

As the product vision matured, our role expanded into UX and product design. We designed interactive prototypes that helped communicate the future platform to investors, stakeholders and prospective partners long before development began.

One of the key concepts we introduced was Spark—Vehro’s AI-powered sidekick. Designed as a friendly digital assistant, Spark helps answer questions, interpret basic vehicle issues and provide guidance during stressful roadside situations, reinforcing Vehro’s promise of confidence and clarity.

Beyond the product itself, we supported fundraising efforts through pitch decks, investment materials and strategic storytelling, helping translate a startup idea into an investable proposition.

The bigger vision

From the outset, Vehro was never envisioned as simply a booking platform.

The long-term ambition is to become the operating system for vehicle ownership—a trusted platform connecting drivers, vehicles and service providers throughout the entire ownership journey.

The initial tyre-fitting beta represents the first step towards a much broader ecosystem of roadside assistance, servicing and maintenance. By validating the marketplace early, building a trusted network of providers and learning from user behaviour, the platform is laying the foundations for a scalable product built around convenience, transparency and trust.

A key part of that vision is data.

Every interaction between driver, vehicle and service provider strengthens the platform’s understanding of vehicle ownership, creating opportunities to deliver increasingly personalised services and smarter customer experiences as the business grows.

The outcome

Vehro is currently progressing through seed funding, having generated interest from both angel investors and private investment firms.

By developing the brand, positioning, product experience and investor proposition together, the business has been able to present a clear, scalable vision from the outset.

Our partnership continues as Vehro evolves from concept into product—helping shape both the brand and the customer experience as the platform moves towards launch.
